There was quite a few contenders for fight of the night and this was among the forerunners.  Yoshimichi Matsumoto won a huge upset by decisioning Haruaki Otsuki. Otsuki was winning pretty much the entire fight in my eyes but got dropped in the final round setting him back on points. He went into berzerker mode trying to get a knockdown to even up the score cards and was about to get it when the bell rang. I’m really sad to see him out of the tournament.
